Sesbreno asks for police escort when in Talisay

Controversial lawyer Raul Sesbreño requested the Talisay City Police Office to provide him police escorts when he appears for court hearings in the city.

Talisay City police chief Supt. Elmer Lim said the lawyer is worried for his safety considering that his wife, Virginia and two others died in an ambush in the South Road Properties (SRP) in barangay Cansojong, last year.

The police official said he agreed with the request. “Anyway Atty. Sesbreño would not stay long in Talisay City. His stay maybe a couple of hours and then he flies back to Manila,” Lim said.

Sesbreño became controversial when he allegedly figured in land grabbing activities in barangay Lawaan 1, II and III.
