Summit boxing card winners bared
ALA Promotions Inc., in partnership with Summit Natural Drinking water treated boxing fans with a “free to the public” amateur fight card last night at the Gaisano Country Mall car parking area.
Vincent Casido from Dumaguete City stopped Zamboanga’s Raffy Banua in just 2 seconds of the first round when his punch connected straight on his opponent’s head and the referee waved off the fight.
Boxing spectators witnessed impressive action from other amateur fighters.
In the experienced division, Mardie Mauna from Cabancalan Elementary School won over Jj Rostea of Cubacub, Mandaue City; Kevin Jake Cataraja of UV Boxing Team won over Christian Bacolod of Cabancalan National High School; Cherwellan Cantel of Cabancalan National High School won over Ritchie Montealto of UV Boxing Team; and Polid Banal of Cabancalan National High School won against Jeffrey Stella of Phil. Aust Boxing Club.
In the Junior division, Marco Pumar of Talisay City won against Raymund Rama of Phil. Aust. Boxing Club; Rommel Tunacao of UV Boxing team defeated Ramil Casanares Pitos National High School; Richard Rama of Phil. Aust Boxing Club conquered Ariel Sibay of UV Boxing Team; Dominique Casanares of Pit-os National High School conquered Marvin Puar of Talisay City.
In the Novice division, Ferland Alibo of Sipalay City crushed Jonas Nerbite of Mandaue City; Kevin Nemenzo of Escalant City defeated Marvin Pesalbon of Consolacion, Cebu; and Excel Mugar of Phil. Aust Boxing Club won against Marvie Pesalbon of Consolacion Cebu./PR
