Teenager shot dead in Manila

A 15-year-old boy was shot dead Monday in a gang war after he and his friends attended Simbang Gabi in Tondo, Manila.

Police Officer 3 Rodel Benitez said the victim, Bryan Kenneth Cali, 15, a resident of Tioco Street in Tondo, was walking with a group of around 30 teenagers when a clash with another group erupted at 5:10 a.m. on Moriones Street near the corner of Sta. Maria Street.

A shot rang out and the victim was found lying on the street.—Erika Sauler
