Hontiveros: FOI bill has chance of approval if…

MANILA, Philippines—The Freedom of Information bill has a chance of being approved before the 15th Congress ends this year if only there is political will, former Akbayan representative Risa Hontiveros said Tuesday.

Hontiveros told Alvin Barcelona’s “Kumpadres” on Radyo Inquirer 990AM  that FOI is an essential law for countries aiming for transparency and accountability.
