SHS-AdC wrests crown in 3rd Ateneo swimfest

The Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) clinched the overall title in the 3rd Ateneo Friendship Swim 2012 held at the school’s swimming pool over the weekend in Mandaue City.

The team finished with a total of 1,005 points to bag the crown. Maria Montesorri International School (MMIS) finished second with 972 points. Finishing third overall was the Talisay City Swim Team with 758 points.

Three SHS-AdC tankers were also accorded most bemedalled honors. Savannah Chiongbian was given the distinction in the 6 years old and under girls, Maxine Sophia Chua in the 9-10 years old girls and Fredric Yuan Chiongbian in the 11-12 years old.

Three members of the Talisay City Swim Team were also named as most bemedalled. They were Andrei Joshua Intong (7-8 boys), Psalm Daniel Aquino (9-10 boys) and Camille Shane Pacabis (15 years old & over girls).

Others who also got the honors were Surigao’s Emma Rose Bertel (7-8 girls), University of San Carlos’ (USC) Jemima Caludele Sembrano (11-12 girls), USC’s April Goden (13-14 girls), University of Bohol Rockets’ Patrick Louie Birad (13-14 boys) and MMIS’ Myles Chi (15 years old & over).

Other participants of the competition were Narwhal Swimming Team, Bright Academy Swim Team, SHS-Hijas, Merne Grahan Memorial School and Paref Springdale Swim Team.
