Saycon-Sameon duo tops level D of 2nd Lash Badminton Cup

The tandem of Nash Saycon and Diana Sameon topped the mixed doubles level D of last weekend’s 2nd Lash Badminton Cup held at the Lash Badminton courts in Mandaue City.

Leo Tugunon and Rosal Estremos, meanwhile, captured the top spot in the mixed doubles level E.

Estremos also topped the women’s doubles D along with Diana Sameon.

Adonis Castañares and Romel Raneses dominated the men’s doubles 40 years old above category while  Boboy Seno and Arnold Pastrano placed first in the men’s doubles level D.

Seno and Pastrano also topped the men’s doubles level E. Melissa Belarmino and Aeryn  Opsima ruled  the women’s doubles F while Michelle Fernandez and Agatha Christine Amante lorded the women’s doubles E.

Dexter Avanceña and Jason Villacarlos placed first in the  men’s doubles level F while Arvin Sonio and Anne Flores won the mixed doubles F.

The winners won an overnight stay at the Malapascua Legend Resort and P1,500 cash. The tournament was organized by Team Boogers Badminton Club of Antonio Melendrez Jr. Darryl Cabilao, Rey and Jhie Adolfo and sponsored by Lash Badminton and Malapascua Legend Resort.  /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
