MANILA, Philippines — The state weather bureau on Tuesday warned of possible flashfloods and landslides  in South Cotabato and the regions of Eastern Visayas, Davao and Zamboanga Peninsula as the intertropical convergence zone will bring cloudy skies with occasional moderate to heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said an ITCZ was affecting Mindanao, while northeast monsoon or hanging amihan is affecting Northern Luzon.
