Man beheads habal driver

A man reportedly suffering from a nervous breakdown hacked and beheaded a habal-habal driver in barangay Tabla, Liloan town, northern Cebu.

Franciso Tundag, 49, was arrested shortly after the brutal killing last Saturday night.

Police identified the fatality as Bobit Canatan, whose severed head was found a few meters from his body.

Police said the victim was talking with his friends when Tundag, who was armed with a bolo, ran amok.

Police said Tundag cornered Canatan in a grassy area and repeatedly hacked him.

When Canatan slumped on the ground, Tundag finished him off by beheading him.

Police said the suspect threw the severed head a few meters from the victim’s body.
