Two-division world champion and reigning WBO Light Flyweight king Donnie “Ahas” Nietes of the Philippines will make his ring return against Thai Danai Meendaeng on Nov. 17, 2012 at the Macias Sports Complex in Dumaguete City, Negros Occidental.

ALA Promotions, in line with its effort of bringing boxing’s more popular fighters closer to the Filipinos, will be bringing Nietes, the longest reigning active world champ from the Philippines closer to his fans in Negros Oriental.

Nietes will showcase his slick and steady boxing style against Meendaeng in a 10-round, non-title bout in preparation for his second defense of his WBO light Flyweight belt against a still to be named foe early next year.
