CCTV in M’daue market seen to boost sales
THE Mandaue City government is still open to interested suppliers of the security camera project of the city’s public market.
The installation of security cameras in the market, market manager Musoline Suliva said, is one of his top priorities “as it encourages people to shop in the new market because they feel more secure.
He said the city government allocated P1.7 million for 36 close circuit television cameras and a control room where the monitors will be located and installed.
“The CCTV will be a big boost to the market and would make crime easy to trace as movements in the market are recorded 24/7,” Suliva said in Cebuano./Correspondent Jucell Marie P. Cuyos
