Free art workshop for PWDs
EVEN persons with disabilities (PWDs) have the right to play and live life artfully. Because of this, Fr. Loreto Jaque and his group, DUWA (Deliverance and Uplift in the Wonders of the Arts) will facilitate a free workshop called Arts Day with PWDs on Nov. 18, Sunday from 8 a.m. to to 4 p.m. at the Social Hall of the Cebu City Hall.
Sponsored by Globe Telecom, IROC Vismin, this whole day event seeks to give PWDS a venue to express their thoughts and artistic capabilities through fun activities.
Art materials, snacks and lunch will be provided for free.
Those in wheelchairs, crutches or who have prosthetics legs can participate. They should be able to use their arms and hands for the activities.
Interested participants may call 2549195.
DUWA meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Spiritual Pastoral Formation Year (SPFY) Hall in Archbishop’s Compound, D. Jakosalem Street, Cebu City.
