2 men mauled, stabbed in Lapu-Lapu

TWO young men were stabbed and wounded by a group of youngsters while they were heading home after attending an outdoor disco in barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City.

Police said they are on the lookout to arrest the  attackers of  Gino Almacin, 20, and Jimwel Igot, 19.

The  victims identified their assailants as Jaybert Dulce, Jaycris Dulce, Edmar Olitres and a certain Jelmar.

Both the  victims and the suspects live in Pusok.

Almacin and Igot were heading home after a disco when  they decided to rest in a waiting shed  past midnight yesterday.

They said a  group of young men approached them and suddenly started to maul them.

Almacin was stabbed when he and Igot fought back.

The suspects ran off when the blooded victims slumped on the ground.

The victims were treated at the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital.
