Caloocan gov’t reroutes traffic for Nov. 1 and 2
The Caloocan City government on Sunday announced road closures and other changes in the flow of traffic on major thoroughfares in the city for All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
Starting on Wednesday, Oct. 31, roads at the Caloocan-Malabon boundary, specifically Tugatog and Letre Road, will be closed to traffic. The road closures will start from Gen. San Miguel Street up to Letre Road and Sangandaan which all lead to Sangandaan Cemetery and Malabon Cemetery.
“Vehicles coming from the city hall are advised to turn right on A. Bato, turn left on Torres Bugallon, turn left on P. Gomez or straight ahead to Samson Road. There will be one-day traffic on Torres Bugallon toward General San Miguel,” the city government said in a statement.
The stretch of C3 Road near La Loma Catholic Cemetery, specifically from Rizal Avenue to Cabatuan Street, will also be closed starting on Oct. 31.
Motorists coming from Dagat-Dagatan Avenue are advised to turn left on Rizal Avenue toward Monumento while vehicles bound for Manila should take 4th Avenue, turn left on F. Roxas and head straight for R. Papa.
Meanwhile, people bound for Eternal Gardens and coming from Sta. Quiteria and Edsa should take Reparo Road and enter the main gate of the memorial park.
Article continues after this advertisementThose coming from Quirino Highway, Novaliches, A. Bonifacio and Balintawak, meanwhile, can take the Laland Drive gate. Only the Baesa gate of the memorial park can be used as an exit.
