Bureau of Customs logs 2nd straight win

THE Bureau of Customs of Collector Ronnie Silvestre claimed its second win in as many games after routing the Department of Education (DEP-ED)- Talisay City, 64-44, last Tuesday in the ongoing Association of Regional Executives in National Agencies (ARENA), Region 7 2012 basketball tournament at the DPWH covered court.

Customs jumped to an impressive 20-10 lead in the opening period behind Ronan Canete, Boodee Montenio and Jingjing Rama. Then in the second, Customs outscored Dep-Ed, 16-10 to grab a 16-point advantage before finishing their opponents with a 20-point demolition.

Ronan Canete led Customs with 16 points while Boodee Montenio and Jan Mose added with 14 and 12 points, respectively. Dodong Labajo paced Dep-Ed with 10 points.
