The event will adopt a seven-round Swiss system format with three games scheduled today and the remaining four to be played tomorrow. Each game will have 40 minutes and governed by FIDE Rules.

Registration is still open today for the rated and non-rated players with a fee of P200 for the regular players, P75 for kiddies 14-under and ladies and P100 for the juniors 20-under.

This tournament is organized by the Cebu Executives and Professionals Chess Association (CEPCA) and supported by Colonnade Mall, Rose Pharmacy and Julies Bakeshop.  /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
