Director General Nicanor Bartolome, PNP chief, and his police escort group were the first responders to a Mitsubishi Adventure with plate number XDY 639 that figured in an accident after its left rear tire burst.
The Adventure was heading south and was traversing near the Carmona exit when the mishap happened around 1:20 p.m., Bartolome said in a text advisory.
Bartolome’s group were on their way back to Manila from Tagaytay when they witnessed the accident on the other side of the expressway. They turned around and called the SLEX patrol to provide emergency assistance.
