2 win P88.7-M lotto pot
MANILA, Philippines – Two bettors from Luzon will split the P88.7 million prize after hitting the jackpot in the 6/55 Grand Lotto draw on Saturday night, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.
The two winners bought their tickets at the local lotto outlets in San Fernando town in Masbate and Sagada in the Mountain Province, Joseph Muego, PCSO’s media officer, said in a text message.
Having picked the winning combination 37-38-24-33-35-32, each of the two will become P44 million richer as soon as they claim their prize at the PCSO headquarters in Pasay City.
Last month was considered a millionaire’s month after the national lottery draws yielded four winners, who managed to beat the odds considering that getting the six-digit combination right was 1 in 28.99 million.
Three of the four September millionaires who had already claimed their prizes from the PCSO were retirees, according to PCSO officials.
