Arts exhibition to open Qube Gallery
ARTISTS and art advocates who banded together for a common cause are set to launch the Qube Gallery through an art exhibit entitled “Sinugdanan,” Cebuano term for new beginnings, on Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Rizal Museum along Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu City.
The exhibit will open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday and will run until Oct. 30.
It will feature paintings by Qube Gallery artists Jose “Kimsoy” Yap, Celso Duazo Pepito, Vidal Alcoseba, Darby Alcoseba, Josua Cabrera, Felix Catarata, Ariel Caratao, Derek Cabatingan, Gigi Ocampo, John Dinglasa, Joseph Ong, Marvin Chito Natural, Melver Mercado, Nomar Miano, Jess Najarro, Ian Quiros and Bobby Guardiario.
The Qube Gallery supports and promotes fine artists in Southern Philippines. The gallery assists both striving and successful artists by providing avenues for exposure. Physical gallery space will be set up in the national capital region to help southern Philippine talents to penetrate the mainstream art industry. The gallery space in Cebu will serve as convergence point for both artists and buyers in the regions.
