Hubby shoots self in front of his wife

A MAN shot himself in the head after a fight with his wife over a female friend last Sunday in barangay Cogon-Pardo, Cebu City.

Domingo Belia, 34, died after he shot himself with his 9 mm pistol in the head.

Investigation showed that Belia’s wife confronted him over the female friend who he used to talk to over the phone.

As the argument  escalated, Belia suddenly pulled out his gun and shot himself.

Police later found Belia slumped above a bamboo bench with a wound in the forehead.

Police recommended that the body be autopsied and the victim undergo a paraffin test to find out if there was any  foul play on his death.

In Lilo-an town last Sunday,  a man, who suffered from tuberculosis, was found hanging in a mango tree. A rope was tied to his neck while the other end on a branch of the tree.

Police said the body of Danilo Tolo, 54, was found by his brother, Alfredo and was taken down with the help of relatives later.

Police said Danilo left a suicide note asking forgiveness because he couldn’t endure his illness anymore.
