Norwegian learning center set to open

NORSK Learning Centre (NLC), a Norwegian learning institution, is set to open on Monday, Sept. 10.

NLC was inaugurated last Aug. 25, with Consolacion town Mayor Teresa “Nene” Alegado leading the ribbon-cutting ceremony and retired Vicar General Msgr. Frederick Kriekenbeek celebrating the Mass.

Tom Natt, NLC school director, said NLC will teach Filipinos, especially nurses who would like to work in Norway.

The learning center also helps students apply for SAFH authorization. SAFH is an authorization from the Norwegian government to work in health institutions in Norway as health workers, general nurses or auxiliary nurses.

The center is located at Room 406, Crown Building, Road North 6, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City.

NLC offers free orientation seminar on Sept. 8 at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
