THE Children’s Haven of the Albert Schweitzer Familienwerk Foundation Philippines Inc. (ASFFPI) in barangay Pilipog, Cordova, Cebu is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the parents and relatives of the abandoned children.

JR Rebese, now 10 years old, was found along Pier 3, barangay Tinago, Cebu City on Aug. 7, 2009, when he was seven years old. A barangay tanod picked him up after receiving a telephone call that a boy was roaming around pier 3.

Regie Obordo, now 14 years old, was found somewhere in Cebu City on April 17, 2007. She was left by her father Rico Obordo to Gemma Pemiado sometime in 2005 and brought to Cebu City on the same year.

The ASFFPI Children’s Haven is requesting the parents and relatives of Rebese and Obordo to visit the center or contact social worker Ligaya Maquiling or executive director Martiniana Mercado at 4967608.

Failure of the parties to appear or claim the children within one month will subject the children for legal abandonment in court.
