Mother of 3-year-old girl with leukemia airs appeal

Rosalie Bayson has been in the Philippine General Hospital for over a month now, attending to her sick child, Glaiza Bayson, who is afflicted with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

The wife of a shoemaker from Biñan, Laguna, said that she is worried for her 3-year-old daughter.

“Her platelet count is only 14 and it has not improved, that is why I am making this appeal for all your readers out there. I am asking for their help,” she told the Inquirer in Filipino.

Her husband, Renato, only earns so much to keep food on the table and there is not enough money for their daughter’s treatment, Rosalie added.

Rosalie can be reached at 0930-9207138. Donations can be coursed through the BDO bank account of her cousin (Lasarah Tiñido) with account number 4240093182.
