2 teenagers nabbed after breaking into teacher’s home in Bulacan
MANILA, Philippines -Two teenagers were arrested after they allegedly broke into a house in Bulacan before dawn Monday, police said.
Superintendent Lailene Amparo, Sta Maria chief of police said the teenagers barged into the house of high school teacher Sheilla Marie Bidel, 26, at No. 1672 R. Nicolas Street, Poblacion, Sta. Maria, Bulacan around 5 a.m. Monday.
She said police were alerted of the crime through a phone call from a concerned citizen saying that two men, one of whom was wearing a white undershirt and the other wearing a black t-shirt, entered into Bidel’s house.
The victim was awakened by their neighbor and was advised to stay inside the house and wait until authorities arrive, Amparo said.
“While waiting, she started searching inside her house and she found out that her bags and wallets containing cash money were missing,” she said, adding the suspects were about to leave when police cornered the pair.
Recovered from the possession of the suspects were P855.90 cash, and two data storage flash drives worth P1,000, along with pictures and other important documents of the victim, Amparo said.
