Robredo remains brought to family in Naga
MANILA, Philippines – The body of Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo has been brought to his family in Naga City Tuesday after it was recovered by a technical diver from the waters off Masbate.
President Benigno Aquino III himself, accompanied by Budget Secretary Florencio Abad, Transportation and Communications Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas, Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin and Presidential Communications Secretary Ricky Carandang, brought the Department of the Interior and Local Government chief’s remains back to his family who have been waiting since Robredo’s plane crash Saturday.
The DILG chief’s wife lawyer Leni Robredo and daughters Aika, Patricia and Jillian were at the Naga City Airport when his remains arrived.
