FORMER SACRED HEART School-Ateneo de Cebu standout Henry Asilum  helped end the University of the Philippines’ run of futility, leading the Fighting Maroons to a, 63-48 win over the University of the East Red Warriors in the 75th UAAP men’s basketball tournament last Sunday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

The Davao-native scored all of his 14 points in the second half and loaded his stat-line with four rebounds, three assists and two steals.

His contributions led the Maroons to the win, which snapped an awful 15-game losing streak that dated back to last season, where they failed to win a single match.

Mark Lopez also posted significant numbers with 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
