Laborer stabbed, hurt by cousin

A construction  worker was stabbed and wounded by his cousin following a heated argument in a drinking session in barangay Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, yesterday dawn.

Jomar Aying, 24, succumbed to a stab wound in the back.

Police identified the suspect as Raymond Aying, 22, who fled after the incident.

Police said the two men were drinking when they figured in a argument. The cause of the argument was not immediately known.

Police said while they were arguing, Raymond drew a knife and stabbed the victim.

The victim was brought to Lapu-Lapu City District hospital then transferred to Don Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City.
