Anti-crime summit set today in Mandaue

OVER five thousand delegates and participants all over the country are expected to join today’s summit of anti-crime volunteers at the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC) in Mandaue City.

 
It will be the first-ever summit of the Community Investigative Support (CIS), a community-based civilian support group.

 
Director Samuel Pagdilao Jr., chief of the Criminal and Investigation Detection Group, said members of CIS from across the country will attend the summit led by national and local government leaders.

Among those invited to grace the event are President Benigno S. Aquino III, Departrment of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jesse Robredo, DILG Undersecretary Rico Puno, and PNP Chief Nicanor Bartolome.
