Goldberry scores another rout

THERE SEEMS to be no stopping the Goldberry Suites as they cruised to another lopsided victory, this time, at the expense of Insular Square, 52-35, in the Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletics Association last Thursday at the SHS-Ateneo de Cebu basketball courts along Mango Avenue.

Goldberry used a strong stretch in the second period, where they pulled away by limiting its opponents to just three points, to start the rout.

Dave Ting paced last year’s losing finalists with 14 points while Dave Lim added 13.

In another game, the reigning champs Dynamic Power blasted the Twin Tower Blue, 77-44.

Christopher Go had 22 points to lead the way.

Japfa routed Fiesta Cebuana, 78-54, while the Cebu Landmaster eked past Gaisano Capital, 50-40. The A-Team also emerged victorious after they squeaked by the Twin Tower Gold, 44-40. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
