The National Capital Region posted the highest number of index crimes or crimes against persons and property (murder, homicide, physical injury, rape, robbery and theft) among the country’s regions from April to June this year. It accounted for 10,120 cases during the period or about 30 percent of the total 34,111 incidents recorded nationwide. Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
