Classes suspended in several Metro cities, nearby towns due to bad weather
MANILA, Philippines—Classes on Monday were suspended in several cities in Metro Manila and nearby towns due to bad weather, according to concerned local government officials.
These are:
• Quezon City — preschool, elementary and secondary levels in both private and public schools
• Manila — public preschool, elementary and high school
• Antipolo City — preschool, elementary and high school levels in both private and public schools
• Mandaluyong — preschool, elementary and high school levels in both private and public schools
• San Juan — kindergarten to high school in both private and public schools
• Marikina — preschool, elementary and high school levels in all public and private schools
• Angono & Tanay, Rizal — preschool to high school
• Makati — preschool to college
• Malabon — Malabon Elementary and Malabon National High School
• Navotas — preschool, elementary and high school levels in both private and public schools
• Obando, Bulacan — all levels
• Valenzuela — preschool, elementary and high school levels in both private and public schools
• Parañaque — all levels
• Pasig — all levels
• Taguig — Day Care, Pre-School, Elem, HS levels, including Taguig City University
• Muntinlupa — preschool to college
• Rodriguez, Rizal — preschool to college
• Laguna — preschool, elementary and high school levels in both private and public schools
Classes were also suspended in various universities and colleges in the following areas:
• University of the Philippines Diliman (From 8:00 a.m. to 12: 00 pm only and will resume at 1:00 pm)
• University of the East Manila and Caloocan
• University of the Philippines Manila
• Malabon University and Malabon Polytechnic Institute Polytechnic Institute of the Philippines
• University of Santo Tomas
• De la Salle University
• STI College of Marikina, Caloocan, Novaliches
• Manila Typan College Pasay
• National Teacher’s College
• Emilio Aguinaldo College
• University of Perpetual Help
• Centro Escolar University (all levels)
• Our Lady of Fatima University
• Philippine College of Criminology
• Colegio de San Juan de Letran (all levels but NCAA games will push through at the University of Asia and the Pacific)
• Far Eastern University
• University of the Philippines Los Banos, Laguna
