Fire razes houses in Mambaling
ANOTHER fire hit Cebu City and destroyed 10 houses yesterday morning in barangay Mambaling.
Fire Officer 2 Glendo Abella said the fire damaged P270,000 worth of property.
No one was reported injured.
Abella said the fire broke out at 9:16 a.m. and was declared under control five minutes after fire fighters arrived in sitio Ibabao.
Abella said the fire, which started at the house of Rolando Velos, quickly spread to neighboring houses that were made of light materials.
Abella said the cause of the fire remains undetermined since Velos’ house had no electric connection.
