MANILA, Philippines — First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos on Tuesday led the second day of the rice aid initiative in Tondo, Manila, where five kilos of rice were distributed to vulnerable families, the Presidential Communications Office said.

The initiative, Mula sa Puso Para sa Pamilya (From the Heart to the Family), funded by the Local Government Support Fund, was part of ongoing efforts to provide immediate relief and support to communities across Metro Manila.

The rice was distributed to 500 beneficiaries, including persons with disabilities, solo parents, and senior citizens.
