The initiative has been institutionalized through the Integrated Community Gasoline Fuel Assistance ordinance, authored by Councilor Ian Galo, and is open to qualified beneficiaries who comply with prescribed requirements.

Under the program, qualified beneficiaries will receive a fuel subsidy of P100 per day from Monday to Saturday for 13 weeks through a coupon-based system.

The city government has allocated P10 million for the program, which will continue so long as funds are available.

Six fuel stations in the city have partnered with the local government and will honor fuel coupons.
