MANILA, Philippines – Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV appeared before the House Committee on Justice on Wednesday as it continued its hearing on the impeachment complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte.

Trillanes was subpoenaed by the panel as legislators continue to gather testimonies and documents related to the allegations raised in the complaints.

His appearance forms part of the committee’s ongoing efforts to determine whether there is sufficient basis to proceed with the impeachment case against the Vice President.
