4 held, P354,000 worth of shabu, marijuana seized in Rizal

LUCENA CITY, Quezon– Four suspected drug traffickers were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in Rizal province on Tuesday and Wednesday, with authorities seizing more than P354,000 worth of illegal drugs.
In a report, the Police Regional Office 4A said anti-drug operatives in Taytay town arrested a suspect identified only as “Asnor” at around 7:10 p.m. in Barangay San Juan after he allegedly sold P500 worth of marijuana to an undercover officer.
Authorities recovered from him about 83 grams of “kush,” or high-grade marijuana, and 198 grams of dried marijuana leaves with a combined estimated value of P148,260.
Police classified Asnor as a high-value individual (HVI), typically identified as a trafficker, financier, or member of a drug syndicate.

In Cardona town, operatives arrested two suspects identified as “Rheyn” and “Joseph” in Barangay Looc at around 6:40 p.m.
They allegedly yielded eight heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu weighing 27.83 grams with an estimated value of P189,244.
Meanwhile, in Antipolo City, police arrested “Renan” in a sting operation at around 12:52 a.m. Wednesday in Barangay Cupang.
Seized from the suspect were four sachets of suspected shabu valued at P17,000.
Authorities are conducting follow-up investigations to trace the source of the illegal drugs.
