PRC: 3,264 pass Feb. 2026 mechanical engineers licensure exam

MANILA, Philippines — A total of 3,264 out of 6,294 passed the February 2026 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination, while 100 out of 120 passed the Certified Plant Mechanics Computer-Based Licensure Examination, said the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday.
According to the PRC, the results were released just three days after the exams took place in testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban,Zamboanga and Puerto Princesa and Palawan.
Jose Arnil Colina Corong Jr. of Visayas State University – Baybay topped the list of topnotchers for Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination with a score of 93.25 percent.

At second and third highest were John Lester Crisologo Gino of University of Cebu and John Angelo Macedo Marzan of President Ramon Magsaysay State University – Iba who scored 92.75 and 91.55 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, Chryss Adamme Traspe Hallegado of Mindanao State University – Gen.
Santos City topped the list of topnotchers in the Certified Plant Mechanics Computer-Based Licensure Examination with a score of 87.65 percent.
Ritz Mike Audal Castro of Camarines Sur Polytechnic College – Nabua followed with a score of 87.60; and Charlie John Alindahao Demol of Cebu Technological University, who scored 86.85 percent.
