1,998 pass January 2026 Architecture board exam; UP grad is topnotcher

MANILA, Philippines — A total of 1,998 out of 2,434 examinees passed the January 2026 Architecture Licensure Exams, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.

The results were released less than a week after Architect Board exams took place on January 20 and 22 in testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. 

John Michael Padin Jetican of University of the Philippines – Diliman topped the licensure examination with a rating of 90.90 percent.

Joshua San Miguel de Lara from Bulacan State University – Malolos ranked second with a rating of 88.50 percent followed by Mikhail Acilo Ocampo of Mapua University with a rating of 88.30 percent.

Meanwhile, Bicol University – Legaspi led the list of the top performing schools (those with 50 or more examinees) with a passing rate of 98.63 percent, followed by University of Santo Tomas at 97.33 percent and Holy Angel University at 96.77 percent.
