Parts of Quezon City under water after heavy rains

MANILA, Philippines—Some parts of Quezon City became flooded after heavy rains on Tuesday, an officer of the Metro Manila Development Authority said.

Ed Garcia of the Flood Control Division said that as of 5 p.m., East Avenue cor. EDSA, Old Sta. Mesa cor. V. Mapa, E. Rodriguez avenue, EDSA from cor. Quezon Avenue to Trinoma mall were in tire-deep water.
