1 killed as truck rams store in Agusan del Sur

MANILA, Philippines—One person was killed and nine others were injured when a wayward truck slammed into a convenient store in Agusan del Sur Thursday afternoon, police said.

Senior Police Officer 1 Arturo Campania said a blue Isuzu truck (7C-7983) accidentally hit the store on National highway in front of Davao Central Warehouse in Barangay (village) 4, San Francisco in Agusan del Sur around 12:15 p.m.

Initial investigation disclosed that the truck was heading towards Barobo, Surigao del Sur when it accidentally swerved to the other side of the road and rammed the store.

The names of the victims were not immediately available.
