Marcos holds meeting with MMDA on comprehensive traffic plan

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday met with Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Romando Artes and other Cabinet officials to discuss updates on the agency's Comprehensive Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) for Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday met with Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Romando Artes and other Cabinet officials to discuss updates on the agency’s Comprehensive Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) for Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

The meeting took place at the Malacañan Palace, according to the Presidential Communications Office.

The CTMP creates an “inclusive, people-oriented, sustainable mobility system” by enhancing transportation infrastructure and implementing an effective traffic management strategy.

Aside from Artes, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla, Public Works and Highways Secretary Manuel Bonoan, and Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista were also present at the meeting.
