Bakud won’t fill Magpale’s PB seat yet

THE Barug Alang sa Kauswagan ug Demokrasiya (Bakud) party of the Durano clan is playing it safe. The party won’t fill up the Provincial Board seat vacated by Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale just yet.

The decision was deferred after losing vice gubernatorial bet Glenn Soco filed a motion for reconsideration on the decision of the Commission on Election rejecting his election protest in the 2010 vice gubernatorial race.

Magpale said Cebuanos will have to wait a little longer for the public announcement of Bakud’s 2013 plans.

“There’s no exact date for the announcement but the group’s chairman, Danao City Vice Mayor Ramon ‘Nito’ Durano III will make the official announcement soon,” Magpale said.

Earlier the vice governor said the announcement will be made after Durano’s son, Cebu 5th district Rep. Red Durano arrives from abroad. congresman Durano arrived last week.

Magpale, however, said that as far as they are concerned, no doors have been closed in discussions with Gov. Gwen Garcia’ s One Cebu and the administration Liberal Party.
