VP Sara Duterte slapped with 3rd impeachment complaint
Religious groups and lawyers filed the third impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte before the House of Representatives’ Office of the Secretary General on Thursday morning.
The groups led by Amando Virgil Ligutan submitted the impeachment complaint to the office of House Secretary General Reginald Velasco at 11:45 a.m.
Clemency for Mary Jane Veloso still subject to review – Marcos
Granting clemency to Mary Jane Veloso, who returned to the Philippines after almost 15 years on death row in Indonesia, still needs to be assessed by legal experts, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos said on Thursday.
In an ambush interview in Pasay City on Thursday, Marcos was asked if Veloso would be granted clemency.
