Manila Water to customers: Include septic tank desludging in holiday checklist
MANILA, Philippines – As we prepare for the upcoming holidays, East Zone concessionaire Manila Water urges its customers to include septic tank desludging in their holiday cleaning checklist.
Through desludging, customers can prevent costly emergencies brought about by septic tank overflowing.

“As septic tank overflowing can cause contamination of water supply, health hazards and property damage, having your septic tanks siphoned can help maintain health and safety at home and create a positive experience for our families and guests during holiday celebrations,” says Jeric Sevilla, Manila Water Communication Affairs Group Director.
Every month, Manila Water provides desludging services at no additional cost to scheduled barangays in its service area through its desludging caravan.
Article continues after this advertisementFor the month of December, Manila Water will be delivering desludging services in the following barangays in Metro Manila: Barangay Ugong Norte, Bagong Lipunan ng Crame, Pinyahan, Bahay Toro, Botocan, White Plains, Amihan, Old Capitol Site, West Triangle, Duyan Duyan, Malaya, Project 6, Teacher’s Village East and Teacher’s Village West in Quezon City; Barangay Olympia, Valenzuela, Pio Del Pilar, and Singkamas in Makati City; Barangay San Antonio, Oranbo, Kapasigan and Malinao in Pasig City; Barangay Bagong Silang and Mauway in Mandaluyong City; Barangay 865 and 867 in the City of Manila; and Barangay San Miguel in Taguig City.

Customers are advised to reach out to their respective barangay councils to know the exact schedule of the desludging caravan visit in their barangay or call the Manila Water Customer Service Hotline 1627.
