MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies with rains are expected over many parts of the country on Tuesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

In a 4 a.m. weather forecast, state weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio reported that the northeast monsoon or amihan will affect Northern Luzon, while the intertropical convergence zone will continue to affect Mindanao.

“Today, the winds are relatively strong due to the northeast monsoon. Cloudy skies with rains are expected over the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and the province of Aurora,” Aurelio explained in Filipino.
