Maynilad to hike rate discounts next year quezon city leak water

MANILA, Philippines — Utility company Maynilad Water Services, Inc. announced service interruptions in Las Piñas, Parañaque, and Pasay from next Monday afternoon to Tuesday morning.

In a Facebook post on Friday morning, Maynilad advised customers to prepare for the disruption from 4 p.m. on November 25 to 8 a.m. on November 26 in the following areas:

According to Maynilad, the interruption was to complete flood-proofing of the Pasay Pumping Station and Reservoir, which began last October.

On Tuesday, the West Zone concessionaire explained that some parts of the flood-proofing procedure were postponed due to inclement weather brought by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami).

Maynilad recommended customers store water in food-grade containers under cool temperatures for their consumption during maintenance activities.
