New Army exec named

ALBAY, Phililppines—Col. Ricardo Visaya, a member of the Philippine Military Academy Class of 1983, was installed as the new commander of the Army’s 901st Brigade, replacing Col. Arthur Ang, in turnover rites at the brigade camp in Barangay Villahermosa in Daraga town on Wednesday.

Visaya said the military would step up its operations in Albay and Catanduanes to achieve the  government’s peace and development efforts to end the four-decade war against insurgency. Mar S. Arguelles,
