Body of teenage girl found 3 weeks after Kristine hit Bicol
LEGAZPI CITY, ALBAY, Philippines — The body of the 18-year-old student who went missing during the onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami) was found after three weeks of search operations in Naga City in Camarines Sur.
Naga City police said in a report that the victim’s body was found along the river in Barangay (village) Del Rosario at around 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday (November 13).

She went missing on October 22 after floods caused by Kristine came rushing into her neighborhood and swept her away.
Mayor Nelson Legacion said she was identified by her father through her black pants.
Article continues after this advertisementLegacion said the teams used excavator equipment and K9 units during the conduct of the search and retrieval operations.
The Office of Civil Defense Bicol earlier reported that 45 people died in Camarines Sur, six in Albay, two in Camarines Norte, five in Catanduanes, and one each in Masbate and Sorsogon. Most cases were due to drowning.
