MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. on Monday refused to talk about former president Rodrigo Duterte during an aid distribution event in Batangas on Monday, and stressed that he wanted to focus on the victims of the recent storm in the province.
In an ambush interview after the turnover of aid to residents devastated by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine in the municipality of Laurel, a member of the media was about to ask the President about Dutrrte.
Marcos, however, quickly cut the reporter off and said, “I don’t wanna talk about that; I need to talk about what’s happening here.”
