NLEX, SLEX traffic eases following long Undas weekend

MANILA, Philippines — The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) traffic eased on Monday morning following the long weekend in observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

According to NLEX management, there was notable light traffic on both sides of the highway as of 9 a.m. on November 4 – particularly to and from the Balintawak Toll Plaza, Mindanao Toll Plaza, Bocaue Toll Plaza, and Balintawak Cloverleaf.

The management said smooth traffic was noted along the NLEX-Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway-NLEX Connector, including its toll plazas and interchanges.

A similar traffic situation was observed along SLEX in general, although some hiccups were marked approaching the Filinvest Exit and Real Exit as of 8 a.m.
