Cloudy skies, some rain over PH due to easterlies
MANILA, Philippines – The easterlies will bring cloudy skies and rain showers in most parts of the country, the weather bureau said on Saturday.
Based on the 4 a.m. weather advisory of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the easterlies will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, the Bicol Region, and Eastern Visayas.
Pagasa said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
It warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.
No low-pressure area is likely to develop, based on Pagasa’s monitoring.
